Thanks for the form letter Virgin America. Because of your ridiculously long lines at LAX check-in, I missed the cut-off for my flight by 5 minutes, which you then charged me $35 to secure a seat on the next flight, 6 hours later.

I was also traveling with a small puppy. So, thanks for really going above and beyond for me and making our lives easier. You didn't in case you didn't catch my sarcasm. After security, I stood and watched as the passengers from my original flight were boarding.

I could have made the flight. But instead, I'm waiting for hours at my gate and had to book a hotel for tonight as I'm getting in too late. All of this because you failed to properly staff your counter and a lousy five minutes after your computer auto locked out any late check-ins. This was my first and only flight with Virgin America.

Wouldn't it be nice if just once an airline didn't try to screw their passengers over at every opportunity? You suck.

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

Monetary Loss: $500.

Preferred solution: Price reduction.
